We have Groups covering many topics; some served by multiple groups with various meeting schedules.

The Object of these Groups is to improve the Educational and Recreational activities of our Members.

On occasions a Group may have a full complement of members ( for example because of the space needed to meet ), but we will be pleased to assist those who wish to start up a new group. Don’t let this put you off – many of our Groups are also currently welcoming new members. – for groups with vacancies please click on this link Groups with Vacancies

Future Learn (Link to Future Learn) offers many on-line short courses which are completely FREE. They are run by various universities and last from 3-10 weeks. Topics include Genealogy, Shakespeare, Exploring Oceans, Human Psychology, Writing Fiction, Ancient Rome, Ageing Well and there are many others. You can join the course, do as much of it as you wish or leave it if you think it is not what you wanted. There is absolutely no pressure!
